High School graduate or equivalent with training in motor vehicle metal maintenance.
Three years’ experience in vehicle metal maintenance.
Work will require lifting up to 50 lbs.; stooping; climbing; prolonged standing; prolonged sitting.
Demonstrative ability to use automotive body hand and special tools; metal working tools, painting equipment; respirators, material handling equipment, such as but not limited to hand tools and power tools, wrenches and cutting torch, hydraulic jack and pulling device, paint spray gun and sander, and welding equipment.
Must receive a favorable background check and drug testing results.
Must be able to stand, sit, walk, bend, reach for long periods of time.
Proficient in proper handling and disposal of Hazardous Waste and Materials. Knowledgeable in current environmental regulations, OSHA and Air Quality programs.
Familiar with Microsoft Office, Excel and Word. Familiar with GCSS-A and Fedlog.
Knows how to use GCSS-A to check parts, labor and work order statuses.
Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) to obtain a CAC.
Uses hand tools and power tools.
Must possess and continuously maintain a current state driver's license.
