The Restoration Technician – Contents works on the front lines to clean and restore properties, turning damaged spaces back into livable environments. The role involves loading and organizing a work vehicle, setting up equipment, and performing content‑cleaning services under direction.
Key duties include maintaining safety standards, communicating with supervisors and crew to keep projects on schedule, and keeping the warehouse, office, and job sites clean and organized. The technician also learns restoration techniques, equipment operation, and supports teammates with additional tasks as needed.
Ideal candidates have at least a high‑school diploma or GED, a strong work ethic, and a team‑first mindset. Experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction is a plus, and IICRC certifications are valued but not required. Solid communication skills and a positive attitude are essential.
The position is physically demanding, requiring regular lifting of 50 lb (up to 100 lb with help), standing, walking, climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces such as crawl spaces and attics. Employees must be comfortable with exposure to heat, fumes, odors, noise, and chemicals and must wear appropriate safety gear, including respirators when required.
