Listens and responds to guest inquiries using a positive and clear voice. Answers questions and offers assistance.
Answers bell desk phone and provides information as needed.
Provides directions to nearby attractions.
Delivers faxes, packages, mail etc to guestrooms.
Places newspapers in bags and delivers them to guest rooms.
Cleans and polishes bell carts and other equipment used in the department.
Maintains and posts hotel reader boards and public area signage.
Runs errands for guests, off property such as purchase or pick up of items.
Retrieves guest items from cars, busses, vans and carts. Carries and or loads luggage, boxes and packages onto bell cart to transport items to guestrooms or meeting rooms (for groups)
Reads and matches luggage tags, writes claim tickets and detaches portion to give to guest.
Offers ice to each arriving guests upon delivery of luggage.
Escorts guests to guestrooms, visually inspects room and telephone and deficiencies such as TV remote etc and informs engineering immediately. Points out room features and directory for reference, familiarize guests with amenities.
Initiates requests to taxi cab companies upon guest requests.
Ensure Hotel entrance and Lobby area are clean and presentable at all times.
Maintains a guest log sheet daily.
