Meet department production targets and consistently adhere to quality and safety standards, including the use of lifting devices and other ergonomic or safety devices when required.
Perform basic mechanical assembly tasks, such as mounting simple components, route, and secure cables, and ensure proper fit and function. Complete plastic fuse “welding” to connect plastic components together.
Inspect components and assemblies to ensure correct component selection, placement, and wiring, according to quality standards.
Adhere strictly to safety protocols while handling tools, equipment, and materials. Report any safety hazards promptly.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Test products in the test cage and document the results of those tests.
Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules.
Work with departmental mentors to gain and apply feedback in pursuit of improved work quality.
Learn the foundations of subassemblies in order to progress within the team.
Attend in-person or virtual meetings as requested or required.
Maintain accurate records of tasks performed, deviations, and any quality concerns.
Verify quality standards via a quality assurance checklist.
If required for the specific work area, learn to complete basic wiring tasks according to schematics and assembly instructions. Charge control boards as needed to prep them for assembly.
Mount components and route/secure cables as needed.
Seek clarification when instructions or processes are not understood.
Use a forklift, lift truck, and other material handling equipment to move and position materials for assembly. Unpack components in the Supermarket to feed necessary materials to the assembly line.

Lifting & Carrying: Frequently required to solo or team lift and/or carry items exercising sound judgment to employ manual handling or machine lifts where required, and risk assessments, if appropriate.
Good attention to detail, with the ability to determine accurate part quantities consistently.
Preferred: Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement manufacturing principles.
Position Self / Move: Frequently required to position self to perform tasks involving but not limited to reaching, twisting, rotating, and pushing/pulling.

Complete in-house training to learn how to read basic blueprints and Bills of Materials (BOLs).
Manual Dexterity: Frequently required to use hand-eye coordination to control both hands and arms for a full range of motion to operate equipment/machinery/power tools/office productivity equipment.
Willingness to do physical work in a manufacturing environment.

Proficient in performing precise and delicate tasks using hands and fingers. Able to manipulate small objects, operate tools, and handle intricate equipment effectively.
Ascending / Descending: Frequently ascending or descending stairs and ladders.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measurement tools.
Good interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to understand and complete requests given by team members inside and outside of the department.
