The intern will conduct field and laboratory testing on soils, asphalt, concrete and aggregates according to WAQTC standards, assist with sample collection and preparation, and accurately document and report results. They will support engineers and technicians in evaluating material performance while adhering to safety protocols.

Civil Science is seeking a motivated Material Testing Intern for Summer 2025. The role requires a WAQTC certification and offers hands‑on experience in construction materials testing alongside industry professionals in Idaho Falls, Pocatello, or Twin Falls, Idaho.
Candidates should have prior experience with construction material testing, be able to lift up to 50 lb repeatedly, possess a valid driver’s license, and pass background and driving record checks. Preference is given to those with WAQTC and IQP certifications.
