Description

Reporting administratively to the Vice‑President of Project Management and operationally to a senior project manager, the incumbent will plan, coordinate and deliver traditional or construction‑management engineering projects, primarily in the industrial, manufacturing and aerospace sectors. The role serves as the main point of contact between clients, multidisciplinary internal teams and external partners to ensure safe, compliant, cost‑effective and on‑time delivery.

• Plan, organize and monitor all project phases (engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning) per delivery mode.
• Maintain project plans, budgets, schedules, risk matrices, issue registers and communication plans.
• Lead project status meetings, facilitate discussions and record minutes.
• Manage change orders, cost tracking and variance analysis with the designated PCO.
• Coordinate across civil, mechanical, electrical and I&C disciplines to ensure technical coherence and quality.
• Supervise contractors, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers; attend site meetings, visits and inspections.
• Contribute to initial estimates, feasibility studies and tender processes.
• Prepare and review contractual documents, technical specifications and scope statements with discipline leads.
• Assist the senior project manager with amendment administration.
• Work on large‑scale industrial and aerospace projects with cutting‑edge technology.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or construction engineering, licensed by OIQ (preferred).
• Master’s in construction management or PMP/PMI certification (strong asset).
• 2–5 years of project‑management experience in an engineering firm or general contractor environment.
• Bilingual fluency in French and English, written and spoken.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel), MS Project, Primavera, Smartsheet, Autodesk Construction Cloud or Procore.
• Experience with 3‑D visualization tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam or Revizto.
• Strong estimation, scheduling and budget‑control skills; organized and able to juggle multiple priorities.
• Problem‑solving mindset, collaborative approach and excellent written communication.
