Perform structural design and analysis of elevator components to ensure safety, durability, and adherence to engineering best practices.
Manage and contribute to certification and compliance projects.
Prepare and maintain documentation for code compliance with ASME A17.1/CSA B44 and related standards.
Contribute to departmental transformation, including process standardization, tool/data harmonization, and training programs.
Author and review technical reports documenting analysis, validation, and compliance.
Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and supplier localization initiatives.
Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure quality, compliance, and manufacturability of parts and assemblies.
Manages resources and encourages high performance in others.
Organizes and prioritizes tasks across multiple projects efficiently.
Provide engineering support for traction machines and hydraulic power units.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required; Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred. Candidates without a PE must hold or obtain EIT within one year.
Familiarity with test methods, instrumentation, and data analysis.
Strong understanding of ASME A17.1/CSA B44 standards.
Knowledge of DFMA principles and materials engineering (steel, aluminum, composites).
Communicates effectively and shares information clearly.
