Maintain employee payroll records, leave, deductions, bonuses, and entitlements
Contribute to payroll system improvements and automation initiatives
Generate payroll-related reporting and analysis for management
Process end-to-end payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Liaise with HR and site teams to verify timesheets, rosters, and variable pay elements
We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Payroll Officer to take responsibility for managing full-cycle payroll and related compliance functions. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely payments and supporting HR, finance, and operations teams as headcount scales.
Prepare payroll reconciliations, reports, and audits
Assist with onboarding/offboarding and final pay processing
Manage superannuation, PAYG withholding, payroll tax, and other statutory obligations
3+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a mid-to-large organisation or project-based environment
Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards, super, and payroll tax compliance
Ability to work in a dynamic, growing business environment
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
Excellent communication and stakeholder liaison skills
Experience with payroll systems-Xero, MYOB, ADP, or similar
