Maintenance Technician

Description

• Perform regular maintenance of residential apartment homes and other areas on the property to include building exteriors, building interiors and public areas.
• Be available for emergency calls and respond to those according to the company's policy on after-hour emergency calls.
• Perform small appliance, plumbing, electrical and other repairs in residential apartment homes and other areas on the property.

Requirements

• Can thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates excellent communication skills.
• Able stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
• Great customer service skills.
• Exceptional safety skills.
• Strong skills in appliance repair, HVAC, and plumbing preferred.
• Must be EPA Universal certified.
• Possess strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
• Able to work weekends, as needed, required
• Must be CPO certified.
• Possession of personal vehicle, preferred.
• Knowledge of equipment functions, appliances, and ladders.
• Able to push, pull and lift over 50lbs.
• Possession of personal tools, required.
• Able to travel to another property in same region.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of multifamily facilities/apartment maintenance (property management).
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
