Keeps the work area clean and organized following 5S discipline
Performs Cleaning, Inspection and Lubrication tasks in the machines under his/her assignment
Communicates with other operators, team leads, supervisors, maintenance technicians and engineers, quality inspectors and engineers
Fills history cards, Production, and quality reports and hour by hour board
Places corrugated tubes in tubs ensuring that they are identified correctly
Operates production machines, machine tools and equipment used to roll, weld, cut, swage and corrugate steel tubes per specifications.
Changes electrodes.
Monitors and logs raw material and Tube’s dimensions, quality of weld and shape according to specifications and quality control plan
Moves tubes from Tube Mill to Swager and to Corrugator.
Places coils of steel strips in the Tube Mill machine and guides it through the Tube Mill Machine.
Feeds and retrieves tubes in swager and corrugator
Apply clearly prescribed standard practice, using several procedures with some decisions.

Familiarity with machine control panels.
