  • Integrate security controls, such as automated vulnerability scanning, static and dynamic analysis, and security testing, into the CI/CD process.
  • Promotes collaborations and communications with all stakeholders.

  • Establish and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address issues. Standardize Terraform templates: (Linux, Windows, and self-healing application stacks).
  • Ensure compliance to IT standards/regulations.
  • Drive strategic initiatives to enhance application reliability and performance.
  • Ensure high availability and fault tolerance of automated systems.
  • Partners closely with AWS leads, Esri technical leads, and technical leads of other systems to deliver industry leading DevSecOps systems interfaces on the AWS cloud environment.
  • Develops relationship across IT partners and line of business clients.
  • Participate in Technology Governance committee meetings and leadership meetings.
  • Responsible for technical delivery of systems interfaces code and PR code reviews/approvals.
  • Actively participate in Agile practices and contribute to sprint commitments.
  • Define and enforce standards and procedures for DevOps platforms.
  • Lead efforts to automate repetitive tasks, streamline deployment processes, streamline business processes.
  • Support engineering teams in defining and implementing new system requirements.
  • Lead debugging efforts in production and assist with testing.
  • Contribute to the GISCOE and Elevate program solution roadmaps.
  • Oversee compliance of the vendor deliverables to solution roadmap.
  • Oversee the promotion of software from non-production to production environments.
  • Develop tools to meet customer requirements and integrate with engineering tools.
  • Automate manual processes to accelerate engineering projects.

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Geo-Informatics/GIS, Information Technology, Geography/GIS, or other relevant field

  • 7 years’ Experience in deploying applications using Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
  • Experience in developing applications in AWS.
  • 7 years of hands-on GIS-related programming and analysis experience
