  • Ensures all lane technicians process proper paperwork for inspection. I.e. Emissions Repair Forms, repair receipts, etc.
  • Investigates customer inquiries, comments or compliments as necessary.
  • Under the direction of the facility Manager, evaluates all lane technicians relative to good customer service.
  • Issues waivers to qualifying vehicles in compliance with.
  • Completes and submits all accident reports per current SOP.
  • Assists facility Manager in payroll and time keeping.
  • Meets and explains the emissions and safety inspection results to the motorist should they understand or require further explanation.
  • May be required to work at other locations in the absence of the Manager or Assistant Manager.
  • Returns customer phone calls made to the 888-NJMOTOR number as requested by the Customer Service Department.
  • Assists in monitoring, evaluating, and documenting employee performance.
  • Responsible for all customer service goals and objectives.
  • As directed by Station Manager will participate in interviewing and hiring of new employees.
  • As directed by the facility Manager will conduct disciplinary investigations and determine and issue the appropriate action.
  • Provides positive employee morale and ensures good public relations between company and customers.
  • Ensures a safe and productive work environment for all employees.
  • Assists facility Manager in meeting station safety, budget, & inspection goals.

  • Automotive and instrumentation aptitude desirable.
