- Works with IKO Corporate Electrical Team for strategic direction, consultation, and troubleshooting. Ensure Corporate Standards are being followed and keep accurate records of any changes made to electrical systems.
- Identifying, troubleshooting, and repairing problems in all areas of Electrical, Automation, Networks, Process, Instrumentation and Controls Systems that occur in the facility
- Performing preventive maintenance and calibration of plant controls systems and instrumentation.
- Providing effective automation and controls support to plant operations to drive increased reliability and availability of equipment
- Supporting troubleshooting, development of process/system improvements, preventive and predictive maintenance development, and contractor performance monitoring, when necessary, for new automation or controls systems.
- Maintaining documentation of all operational activities for future reference.

- Skilled in use of electrical test equipment including voltmeters, amp meters, process meters, network analyzers and other testing devices to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Understands how to read and translate the information found within all: PLC code, Schematic wiring, One-line, and P&ID process diagrams.
- Experience with AB PLCs, “Studio 5000”, HMI, VFD’s, Servo, Sensors, Instrumentation, and industrial control systems.
- Knowledge of Industrial Ethernet Networks and network communication standards.
- Electrical Engineering Technology diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or Equivalent experience as an Industrial Electrician.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- 5+ years related work experience working with/on PLC’s, HMI’s, Servos, VFD’s, electrical, hydraulics, controls, and pneumatics.
- Understands and is familiar with safety systems for plant equipment such as safety PLCs, E-stops, safety relays, and light curtains.
- Possess knowledge of and apply electrical standards, including National Electrical Code and UL508a, apply safe electrical work practices including LOTO and Arc Flash safety - NFPA 70e.
- Troubleshooting, pinpointing problems, and remediate all problems
- Possesses an understanding of calibration procedures for process instruments, which measure temperature, pressure, flow, level and composition, along with an understanding of process controls and troubleshooting.
