The Mechanical Engineer role is central to successful project delivery, encompassing review of infrastructure, HVAC, and public health system designs, supervision of design engineers, and coordination of employer and project requirements.
Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with codes and standards, maintaining detailed design documentation, overseeing technical analysis, and guaranteeing timely completion of deliverables across mechanical systems.
Team collaboration spans internal groups such as the C3 Group and external partners including suppliers, subcontractors, operators, and auditors, supported by rigorous policies, reporting procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide expert technical advice to meet project requirements, schedule, and quality targets.
- Lead coordination with senior team leaders, designers, and end users for successful project delivery.
- Review and validate specifications, reports, and drawings to ensure design quality and compliance.
- Assess project targets, identify improvement opportunities, and enhance efficiency.
- Oversee design of mechanical systems (HVAC, public health, fire protection, gas, BMS, energy management) ensuring completeness and standards compliance.
- Perform technical analysis and resolve engineering problems.
- Review major material submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings.
- Ensure testing, commissioning, and training follow best practices and are properly documented.
- Deliver complete project documentation, including close‑out files.
- Enforce adherence to corporate standards, code of conduct, and O&H&S requirements.
- Follow QA procedures and maintain high technical competency through continuous professional development.
- Build and maintain relationships with end users and authorities, responding promptly to achieve client satisfaction.
- Follow functional policies, SOPs, and prepare accurate MIS reports.
- Apply safety, quality, and environmental policies to ensure legislative compliance and high‑quality outcomes.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities for processes, cost reduction, and productivity.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services, possess professional memberships and relevant accreditations, and bring at least seven years of design and project administration experience on large‑scale MEP projects in the Middle East.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
- Maintain professional membership in ASHRAE, CIBSE, or ASME and possess LEED or BREEM accreditation.
- Bring at least 7 years of experience in design and project administration of large‑scale MEP projects in the Middle East.
- Proficient with design software such as HAP, Revit, and CAD.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of MEP design, calculations, and relevant codes/standards.
- Exhibit leadership experience delivering large hospitality or residential buildings.
- Experienced with authority approval processes and sustainable building design.
- Possess excellent planning, time‑management, and quality‑orientation skills.
- Willing to work in project/site environments.
