The assembler is responsible for building and repairing electrical and electromechanical assemblies, including surface‑mount and through‑hole components for military and commercial customers such as Vertex, Gulfstream, Raytheon, and Boeing. Duties include soldering, crimping connectors, desoldering, applying lock‑wire safety wire, assembling mechanical sub‑assemblies, potting components, interpreting blueprints and work instructions, and performing visual inspections to identify defects. The employee must use a variety of hand tools, ensure tooling is calibrated, maintain a clean and safe work area, and collaborate with team members to complete assemblies.
