Carry out the service and maintenance of a diverse range of boilers and there related systems under the EMCOR contract.
Engineer required to join a gas team to carry out service and maintenance to various boilers.. Maintenance to compressed air main and Nitrogen/Argon plant. Must be able to work in a team or as an individual. Any other duties as required.
Conduct site surveys and inspections
Respond to reported Gas Escapes
Provide the client with accurate information and feedback concerning plant status
Work as part of a team to provide out of hours call out for which there is a standby allowance and minimum payment for any call responded to.
Carrying out relevant installations, repairs and servicing in occupied and unoccupied properties
Attend the training programs prescribed by EMCOR including additional requirements of the client due to the nature of their work.

Knowledge of BMS
NVQ or equivalent gas or plumbing qualification (Level 3 NVQ in Domestic Natural Gas Installation and Maintenance)
Domestic / Commercial Gas – Oil and LPG experience a plus
Knowledge of all aspects of mechanical services
ACS gas and OFTEC qualifications elements: CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, HTR1, CODNCO1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, TCPC1
Solid background within a similar role.
Gas catering or refrigeration experience as a plus, or willing to be upskilled
ACS qualifications as follows:- CCN1, Cenwat, COCN1 or CoDNCO1, ICPN1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, Met4, CIGA1, CDGA1, BMP1 and CORT1.
Be competent to identify parts required, obtain quotations and carry out necessary purchasing procedure.
Some Knowledge of Building Management Systems would be an advantage.
Undertaken relevant Health and Safety Training.
Experience on a range of commercial boiler plant and domestic boilers in commercial settings
Good communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of Permit to Work System.
