Alarm Engineer

• Participate in on-call rota and respond to emergency call-outs when required.
• Complete detailed service reports and documentation.
• Liaise with clients and site personnel to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Install, maintain, and commission alarm systems (fire and security preferred).
• Conduct fault finding and diagnostics
• Perform routine servicing and testing in accordance

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Alarm Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, and commissioning of alarm systems across commercial, industrial, and residential sites. You will ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards and complies with relevant regulations and codes of practice.

• Understanding of BS5839 and other relevant standards.
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems including addressable systems (e.g., Gent, Advanced, Kentec, Morley).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• FIA or equivalent fire alarm training certification.
• Proven experience as a Alarm Engineer.
• Knowledge of other life safety systems (e.g, access control, CCTV).
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with emergency lighting systems.

Salary - £31,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience
