Senior Engineering Analyst

Description

• Define scope of work, plan, allocate resources, ensure execution and timely completion of assignments.
• Approve deliveries made by team.
• Ensures that others involved in a project/effort are kept informed about developments and plans
• Interact and Communicate with business units frequently to understand their requirements.
• Ensure compliance to established Quality Management Processes.
• Comply to organizational HR policies and procedures.
• Guide team members to have them accomplish their performance goals.
• Supervise & mentor other Engineers on design by analysis.
• Share regular progress updates with business.
• Review work carried out by other analysts, lead design reviews.
• Validate timesheets of team members assigned.
• Lead multiple projects at the same time, including small cross-functional projects.
• Execute complex analysis projects.
• Prepare & conduct technical trainings.
• Define functional processes and work towards continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as and when needed for project reviews, client meetings, and technical workshops.
• Basic knowledge of project management software (e.g. Primavera)
• Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Civil/Ocean/Naval Engineering (or equivalent) with minimum 7 years of experience or Masters degree in Mechanical/Ocean/Naval Architecture Engineering (or equivalent) with minimum 5 years of experience.
• Teamwork & Interpersonal skills
• Basic knowledge of CAD software used.
• Mentoring skills
• Skill to gather, analyze and interpret data
• Expert level knowledge on use of FEA & calculation for SURF Local and Global analysis and relevant CAE softwares (e.g. OrcaFlex, UFlex, ANSYS, RISA, Sesam etc.)
• Ability to determine and meet customer needs
• As a Senior Engineering Analyst, Grade II, you will play a critical role in driving technical excellence and innovation across the SURF (Subsea Umbilicals, Risers, and Flowlines) analysis areas. This position is pivotal to Oceaneering’s success by ensuring robust engineering solutions, mentoring future talent, and leading complex analysis projects that meet stringent quality and safety standards. Your ability to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), guide teams, and influence functional processes will define your success in this role.
