Establishes and enforces industrial safety policies
Supervises or lead employees, supports and monitors employee daily activities, training, performance, recognition and discipline and make routine supervisory decisions
Maintains program compliance with plant, fleet and industry requirements
Oversees industrial hygiene activities to promote compliance with regulations regarding exposure to hazardous substances and maintain a healthy work environment
Informs management of issues and organizes, plans, controls and executes goals and objectives
Assists in instruction of site personnel in industrial safety and perform job observations to ensure safety and quality standards are met
Implements industrial safety programs to reduce and prevent industrial safety events which could cause personnel injury or plant equipment damage
Observes and enforces safety rules and practices, encourages safe work behaviors, and promptly correct conditions which may lead to accidents

Nuclear Experience: 7+ years
Industrial safety experience: 10+ years
Bachelor's in Industrial Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Fire Protection or Environmental Health and Safety
Experience with accident investigation and report writing
Experience: 10+ years
Experience with computer applications used for accident analysis and trending
Bachelor's Degree
OSHA 30 Hour, General Industry Course
Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIM)
