Director of Administrative Operations

Description

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on service excellence and patient experience.
• Align service line strategy with operational, capital, and facilities planning.
• Support onboarding, training, and professional development initiatives.
• Monitor performance metrics including productivity, charge capture, documentation, and quality outcomes.
• Ensure service line goals align with enterprise-wide priorities.
• Develop, manage, and achieve operating and capital budgets.
• Collaborate with business development and marketing to drive outreach, promotion, and referral growth.
• Foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative work environment.
• Ensure appropriate staffing, space, and resources to support current operations and future growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with hospital partners, community agencies, and affiliated institutions.
• Establish and maintain policies and procedures that promote efficient, high-quality care delivery.
• Communicate regularly with physician and executive leadership regarding performance, challenges, and progress.
• Identify and launch new or expanded outpatient programs to support growth objectives.
• Recruit, hire, evaluate, and manage staff across supported service lines.
• Provide administrative and operational oversight across all assigned divisions, programs, and sites.
• Lead strategic growth initiatives, including development and execution of service line business plans.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Define roles, competencies, and performance expectations.
• Partner with physician, nursing, and specialty leadership to design financially sustainable business and operating models.

Requirements

• Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT)
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with physician, nursing, and administrative leaders.
• Demonstrated success leading performance improvement initiatives and complex projects.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Director of Operations within ambulatory healthcare.
• Progressive leadership experience in healthcare administration; pediatric or specialty care experience strongly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with electronic medical record and physician practice management systems (e.g., Epic).

Salary: $150,000–$160,000
