- Responsible for managing all aspects of a portfolio of jobs as Project Manager in conjunction with a project director or Associate Director on major/complex projects could take the role of Project Engineer. Core responsibilities include:
- Presenting to clients
- Review and comment on deliverables produced by the team on a regular basis.
- Applying policies relating to health & safety, quality and training
- Implement and coordinate QHSE procedures in your workplace.
- Understand, implement and follow 9E QHSE policies.
- Constructing project teams from internal and external resources.
- Prepare drawings, calculations & models. Review documents prepared by subordinates.
- Hold regular team meetings.
- Negotiating fee proposals and requesting additional fees where possible.
- Liaising with client/design team/contractor/authorities.
- Preparing client/project proposals for agreement with a Director.
- Ensuring QA policy, HSE and CDM requirements are satisfied.
- Managing day to day work
- Developing and guiding engineers and design team.
- Undertake six monthly performance reviews for their team
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the business and play a key role in the development of the company procedures and by an active role in task groups.
- Procuring project resources
- Report any QHSE incidents immediately to 9E QHSE Dept. and to legal authorities if required.
- Comply with local regulatory authority guidelines and laws pertaining to QHSE.
- Be responsible for leading a team of engineers in conjunction with another associate
- Abide Client/Contractor QHSE requirements and acquire site induction before mobilizing at sites.

Have a proven record as a Project Engineer on a number of projects.
On average a minimum of 12 years experience in the relevant field.
Qualified as Graduate Engineer in Civil/Structural Engineering.
Chartered Engineering will be an added advantage.
Experience in Middle East projects will be highly preferred.
Ability to represent 9E at new project interviews.
Ability to develop relationships with Client and Architects.
- Ability to manage team of 12/15.
- Be experienced and competent at:
- Have a good knowledge of concept design, buildability, detailed design, construction techniques, procurement routes, risk assessment and claim assessment.
- Demonstrates all round technical competence.
- Have a detailed knowledge of our delivery in CAD standards and 3D working.
- Agree design philosophy/design fundamentals.
- Ability to represent the practice on the projects under his/her control.
- Have a detailed knowledge of analytical concepts.
- Be able to motivate and lead professional teams to deliver client solutions.
