Manage grant tracking systems, spreadsheets, and shared folders to ensure accurate records of submissions, awards, and deadlines.
Draft and edit grant-related content, including:
Draft internal updates, notes, and summaries following meetings or client conversations.
Research and track federal, state, local, and foundation grant opportunities relevant to CORE’s public sector clients (K-12, Civic, Higher Education, and Healthcare).
Coordinate with the Grants Manager to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
Support proposal development by gathering data, verifying requirements, and organizing supporting documentation.
Follow-up emails and funder correspondence
Assist with tracking client requests, turnaround times, and project status in alignment with CORE’s Grant Support Menu of Services.
Support Business Development and Marketing teams by preparing background materials and funding summaries for pursuits and presentations.
Maintain and update internal grant database, including deadlines, eligibility criteria, award sizes, and funding trends.
Draft narrative sections and boilerplate language
Monitor funding announcements, NOFOs/RFPs, and policy updates that may impact client eligibility or competitiveness.
Support reporting and closeout activities by organizing award documentation and compliance materials.
Ensure written materials are clear, accurate, and aligned with funder priorities.
Prepare concise research summaries, vetting notes, and opportunity overviews for internal use.

Experience maintaining CRM or grant tracking systems (Salesforce, Blackbaud, Monday, or similar).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); comfort working in shared digital systems.
Highly organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Familiarity with grant research tools and databases (e.g., Foundation Directory, Grants.gov, state portals).
Basic graphic or visual content skills (e.g., Canva, PowerPoint, Adobe Express) to support internal materials or client-facing summaries.
Experience or interest in using AI tools to support research, writing, data organization, or workflow efficiency.
Experience in nonprofit development or fundraising (internships, fellowships, or entry-level roles acceptable).
Excellent writing and editing skills, with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a small, fast-paced team.
Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Communications, Political or Social Science, English, or a related field.
Interest or experience in digital content such as podcasts, webinars, presentations, or interview preparation.
Strong research skills with the ability to analyze funding guidelines and synthesize information clearly.
Strong professional judgment and discretion when handling sensitive client information.
Strong understanding of storytelling and messaging for public sector, nonprofit, or mission-driven audiences.
