Coordinate with site supervisors, riggers, and other trades to support lifting plans and material staging.
Assist in loading and unloading construction materials including bridge decking, precast components, and traffic control devices.
Work performed in confined areas
Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage and report any mechanical issues promptly.
Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
Support general labor tasks when equipment is not in use, including site cleanup and material organization.
Comply with all site safety protocols, traffic control measures, and OSHA regulations.
Operate telehandler equipment to transport and position materials at designated locations on the job site.

Navigate uneven terrain and confined spaces typical of bridge and roadway construction zones.
Must be able to repeatedly lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Ability to read and interpret site plans and lifting diagrams.
Must be able to climb ladders, and work from stationary platforms from elevated heights.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions.
Must be able to repetitively sit, lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach and crawl.
Must be able to hear and distinguish emergency signals and instructions while on duty.
Familiarity with rigging practices and load charts.
Must be able to work in all outdoor elements for extended periods of time.
Must be capable of working extended hours and variable shifts.
Minimum 2 years of experience operating telehandlers in heavy civil or bridge construction environments.
Work performed at low and/or high elevations
Strong understanding of safety procedures and hazard recognition.
