Design, implement, and support quality control plans, procedures, and inspection systems, as necessary to ensure quality standards and specifications are being met.
Oversee quality control of products through the value stream. The candidate will be the quality representative for inspection, QA holds, A3s, CAPAs, and production meetings.
Perform data analysis, trend identifications, and improvement recommendations to achieve KPI targets and goals.
Troubleshoot problems, provide technical support, and facilitate corrective actions to resolve quality issues.
Enhance a team environment by encouraging communication, involvement, and empowerment of cross functional team members.
Provision of site QC leadership and support for internal and external conformance audits. This includes ISO9000 compliance and audit support for the plant.
Supplier quality development and performance monitoring.
Lead customer material returns and internal rejects, ensuring proper RCCA using various methods. (Root Cause Analysis, 8D, customer response support).
Support Continuous Improvement projects & Kaizen events from a quality perspective. This includes projected charters, calculating paybacks, and describing expected impacts on KPIs.

Track record of implementation and maintenance of QMS.
Robust time-management skills
Strong analytical skills to assess data, identify trends, and make informed decisions. Aptitude in the use of statistical tools to analyze quality metrics and drive process improvements.
Regulatory Compliance understanding: Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards is essential. Stay updated on standards changes to ensure compliance and adherence.
6-Sigma green belt or black belt certified preferred.
Firm understanding of GD&T (datum schemes and tolerancing of products & gauging) preferred.
Proficiency in quality management systems such as ISO 9001 (AS9100 preferred). Solid understanding of QMS principles and their implementation.
Strong MS Office skills.
ISO9001/AS9100 Auditor Certification preferred.
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace, Materials, Biomedical) from an accredited university.
At least (3) years of experience in Quality (2 years may be in an equivalent field and/or working cross-functionally with Quality in a manufacturing environment)
Travel up to 15%
