The BMS Technician will operate within the Arcus FM Bureau, supporting a range of stakeholders including client employees, service and maintenance contractors, installation contractors, and internal FM staff. Responsibilities include auditing remote sites before and after investment work and conducting pre‑BPM reviews of BMS installations.
Arcus is seeking an experienced Building Management System (BMS) Desk Technician for a challenging role. The successful candidate will investigate BMS issues using the Trend 963 portal/Vision, KMC and RDM, create daily and weekly automated alarm reports, and provide technical advice on Verisae and Trend systems. They will also gather technical data for trend analysis and distribute technical reports to contractors and the client.
The role requires strong knowledge of BEMS from manufacturers such as Trend, IQ Vision, Siemens, or Tridium, as well as experience in professional customer service environments. Candidates should understand facilities management contracts, performance measurement, and possess good verbal communication and IT skills with MS Office.
Additional expectations include solid administration and time‑management abilities, the capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, and technical competence in HVAC, hot and cold water systems, renewable energy and basic electrical knowledge. A valid UK driving licence and own transport are also required.
