The Sr Specialist will partner with the Supply Chain Category Management team and internal Centers of Excellence to build and maintain the annual RFx pipeline. Responsibilities include managing RFx timelines, assessing risks, creating mitigation plans, and meeting productivity targets while using Carrier’s standard sourcing processes and tools such as Ariba. The position also aims to develop organizational capability, drive continuous improvement, and support talent attraction, engagement, development, and retention across global supply chain teams.
- Build and maintain the annual RFx pipeline in collaboration with Category Management and CoE teams.
- Manage RFx timelines, assess risks, and develop mitigation plans to achieve productivity targets.
- Utilize Ariba and Carrier’s sourcing processes to execute RFx events.
- Analyze total cost of ownership and spend data to drive cost‑reduction initiatives for indirect categories.
- Lead strategic prioritization, engage stakeholders, and adapt sourcing strategies to changing business needs.
- Provide empathetic people management for a team of 4‑10, driving results, accountability, and development.

- Bachelor’s degree from a premier institute; MBA preferred.
- 12‑15 years of supply chain management experience with exposure to a Center of Excellence environment.
- Strong indirect sourcing knowledge, cost estimation, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to manage a team of 4‑10 direct reports in a global, multi‑country setting.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and program management capabilities.
