The Accounting Analyst for AR, AP and Other Assets will ensure US GAAP accounting treatment for payable, receivable and asset‑related categories. The role supports forecasts, budgets and analysis while maximizing the use of Oracle and BlackLine and adopting new technologies. It also guarantees adherence to AECOM policies, procedures and SOX controls.
Key duties include overseeing month‑end close, performing flux and FX revaluation analysis, preparing complex reconciliations and journal entries, and assisting with 10K/10Q and statutory disclosures. The analyst will liaise with Source‑to‑Pay and Order‑to‑Cash teams to resolve discrepancies, work with internal and external auditors, and participate in self‑testing programs to remediate control gaps. Continuous improvement of processes and system optimization are also central responsibilities.
- Ensure correct US GAAP treatment for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other asset‑related categories
- Prepare and approve complex monthly reconciliations, journal entries, and subledger reconciliations
- Conduct month‑end close, flux analysis, and FX revaluation accurately and on schedule
- Assist in preparing 10K/10Q and statutory disclosures for multiple legal entities
- Liaise with internal and external auditors to maintain SOX compliance and regulatory requirements
- Participate in self‑testing programs to identify and remediate control gaps before audits
- Drive continuous improvement by optimizing Oracle and BlackLine and identifying new technology opportunities
- Partner with Source‑to‑Pay and Order‑to‑Cash teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes
- Deliver on internal KPIs and customer‑focused SLAs for best‑in‑class general accounting service
- Apply strategic decision‑making, business acumen, and analytical thinking to solve complex issues
- Lead change initiatives, influence stakeholders, and communicate effectively across global teams
- Maintain strong customer service and continuously seek process, tool, and mindset improvements

Candidates must hold a CPA or equivalent qualification and have at least five years of accounting experience, including three years in general accounting and two years within a global organization. Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, experience in shared‑services compliance, and excellent English communication and stakeholder management skills are required. Success in cross‑cultural, virtual team environments is essential.
