Field Service Technician -Toowoomba - Remote

Description

• Maintaining a working knowledge of the National Electric Code.
• Maintaining a detailed knowledge of SMA’s accessories, & third-party accessories.
• Commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, & analysis of SMA inverters via email, telephone, & site visits.
• Maintaining and exhibiting very high safety standards in the workplace & on-site.
• Completing documentation & reporting for service cases.

Requirements

• You will hold a relevant electrical trade Licence - essential
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Communications experience with Modbus, SCADA, or other communication protocols.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Proficiency in the English language, both written & verbal.
• Very good relationship management, problem solving & conflict management skills.
• Ability to deliver services within project deadlines.
• At least 5 years of experience in electrical, electronic and/or network communications are required
• CEC accreditation - desirable
• a concise resume including your qualifications, accomplishments, work history (if any), and Electrical experience to date
• Include a copy of your Electrical licence.
• Commitment in complying with Safety, Health & Environmental policies & procedures including proper lifting techniques.
• Ability to work remotely & independently.
• Broad experience in a customer service role for power generation products (experience in the solar industry is a plus)
• An Australian Drivers Licence - essential
