Perform preventive maintenance activities on critical power systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair power system components by gaining a complete understanding of the electrical operation of the latest module technologies. Install DC Power System in customer locations.
Interact with people from all organizational levels, both inside and outside the company.
Perform Site Assessments for new and existing DC Power Systems. Assessments define the necessary equipment, materials, and labor to fulfill the customer’s requests. The Assessments are provided to Account Managers and/or Sales Team in support of their project quotations.
Lead verification/continuity testing.
Analysis of job specifications and drawings.
Addition or removal of common systems equipment hardware, including batteries.
Provide the highest quality of service possible to assure customer satisfaction.

Being directly responsible for company assets, including a service vehicle, parts inventory, tools and test equipment.
Provide work assignments to Skill Level 1, 2 and 3 Installers.
In-process and final quality inspections.
Prepare a Method of Procedure (MOP).
Responsible for approving and completion of all work orders, expense reports, PM worksheets and any documentation as requested.
Supervise and complete Telecom Central Office, Headend, MTSO and/or Regen, Switchgear and/or UPS equipment / battery Installations.
Addition or removal of wiring and connections.
Provide daily status updates to the Service Manager for all projects that they are leading.
Supervise site Installation teams and/or Subcontractors.
Responsible for reviewing customer inquiries, specifications, and engineering data and recommending products and services to suit their requirements.
Timely reporting of all activities including service reports, expense reports, and maintenance reports to the customer.
Mark/correct office record drawings.

Drivers must be able to obtain a CDL in order to drive commercial motor vehicles or combination vehicles weighing more than 26,000 lbs.

Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with diverse needs, and across remote offices.
5 years’ experience in lead technician role.
Drivers must be at least 18 years old to drive "Intrastate". Drivers must be at least 21 years old to driver "Interstate".
Experience in material handling environment is preferred, but not required.
Ability to clearly articulate ideas (both written and verbal) to both internal and external customers and to listen effectively to customer needs.
First Contact Resolution
Education: AAS Degree / Tech School or equivalent work experience.
Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment.
Drivers must have a valid DOT medical card or the ability to obtain DOT medical card per DOT/FMCA guidelines during the hiring process. Drivers must continue to maintain their active medical card status throughout their employment.
Power transition work (“hot ties”)
10+ years of technician experience with DC Power and/or UPS equipment is required.
