Reporting directly to a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll assist across all aspects of cost management, procurement, and contract administration.
- Work with Tier 1 contractors and developers on projects up to £300m.
- Ensure adherence to company processes and commercial best practice.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Contribute to value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives.
- Help with forecasting, cost tracking, and progress reporting.
- Assist in procurement, tendering, and subcontractor administration.
- Prepare and update valuations, variations, and cost/value reports.
- Support the Senior Quantity Surveyor with day-to-day commercial duties.

You’ll gain valuable hands-on experience working on major high-rise RC frame projects, supporting the delivery of key packages from early stages through to completion, while developing strong commercial and technical foundations.
- Proficient in Excel and cost management software.
- Exposure to residential, RC frame, or mixed-use projects is desirable.
- Excellent communicator with a collaborative mindset.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills.
- Ideally, 2–4 years’ experience within a main contractor or developer environment.
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (or equivalent).
