The Role

Overview

Design and support of transmission/substation projects as a Primary Engineer.

Tasks

-Develop scopes and specifications for design and construction -Identify and manage scope variations according to client and/or project requirements -Effectively manage the detail design from concept through to final design implementation to agreed scope, quality, time frames and budgets -Manage outcomes within budget and project programme constraints whilst maintaining high levels of technical performance -Undertaking primary design for substations and terminal stations to a high technical standard -Review and assess brownfield and greenfield sites -Review work as part of the peer review process from time to time as may be required

What You Bring

-Detailed technical knowledge and experience in electricity networks engineering -Relevant work rights to live and work full-time in Australia -NER high desired, motivated and willing to work toward CPEng status -Demonstrated experience with primary design in electricity substations engineering, project delivery and/or design roles -An Electrical Engineering Degree (or equivalent) -Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microstation -Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to manage stakeholders at all levels
