As a Protection Planner, you’ll play a key part in keeping our people and projects safe on the network. Based in Auckland, you’ll support the Upper North Island Planning Team by coordinating and scheduling track protection for maintenance, projects, and third-party work. You’ll help plan, review, and optimise work programmes so our teams can deliver safely and efficiently – minimising disruption to train services while ensuring full compliance with rail safety standards. This role sits at the heart of our network operations, connecting planners, project teams, and field staff to keep work moving smoothly and safely.
