Key responsibilities include developing and executing capital‑expenditure, branding, and operational strategies, acting as the owner’s representative with hotel brands, and producing regular asset performance reports and cash‑flow forecasts. The position also oversees expense reviews, revenue optimization calls, lease and contract negotiations, and collaborates with treasury, accounting, and lenders on cash‑flow and debt compliance. Additionally, the role supports underwriting of new acquisitions and monitors capital renovation projects to ensure they stay on budget and schedule.
Candidates must have at least ten years of hospitality asset management experience, preferably within real‑estate private equity, and a proven record of portfolio leadership and strategic planning. Required skills include strong analytical and presentation abilities, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the capacity to influence hotel operators and drive change. An undergraduate degree is required; an MBA or related graduate degree is a plus.
The position is classified as exempt with a salary range of $225,000–$265,000 paid bi‑weekly. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage under the Brookfield Medical Plan, a 401(k) retirement plan, and employer‑paid life and short/long‑term disability insurance. Travel nationwide to assets is required, and the role can be performed remotely or in an office setting.
