Senior Product Owner, Sales & Customer Experience

• Serves as a technical expert on important regulations that impact the Product Owner’s assigned business area(s) and that may also relate to broader compliance implications in the multifamily industry or for the company.
• Drives innovation, stays current on industry trends, and researches and pilots new technologies.
• Manage the full lifecycle of key sales, CRM/relationship management, website, and B2C multu-channel customer experience-related system implementations, including data migration, system configuration, testing, and training.
• Represents the Company in a professional manner at all times. Consistently maintains a professional courteous attitude when dealing with residents, coworkers and the general public.
• Serves as the ultimate single-point-of-contact and/or escalation point to major technology related priorities for the assigned business area(s). Helps to navigate questions or concerns for assigned business area(s) across IT domains (including applications, infrastructure, hardware, etc.) and implements continuous improvements for the applications and end-to-end technology platforms.
• Facilitates effective collaboration and resource allocation across technical teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of interconnected systems, particularly those supporting centralized back-office operations.
• Delivers on the technology roadmap. Executes on projects. Accountable for project charter, deliverables, and overall project delivery and success and communicate key milestones and metrics to all stakeholders
• Has budget accountability for technology operating costs and projects (capital and operating) within assigned business area(s).
• Manages (either directly or indirectly) the team responsible for delivery of technology capabilities, including project team members and development resources. Oversees project work, ongoing product configurations, and setup. Coordinates support with IT application operations and services teams.
• Owns the application suite for assigned business areas, key business, and vendor relationships; develops RFPs and negotiates contracts.
• Ensures compliance with cybersecurity requirements, manages third-party vendor risk, and adheres to corporate IT standards for projects, governance, architecture, security, and infrastructure.
• Leads the planning and execution of key sales, CRM/relationship management, and B2C multi-channel (web, social, email, and mobile applications) technology replacements, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Evaluates and selects solutions that meet the organization's needs and long-term strategic goals.
• Collaborates, influences and partners with leadership across all Sales, Marketing and Customer Experience focused teams to align business strategy, technology priorities and roadmap, both near and long-term. Serves as hybrid team member, effectively positioned in both IT and with their assigned team(s) as a key technical and business domain team member.
• Influences external software vendor features and roadmap. External influencer. Advocate for our needs and build strong relationships with our software partners and vendors to improve performance and generate maximum value
• Drives the strategic evolution and integration of core operational platforms, including Property Management Systems (PMS), billing systems, and contact center technologies, ensuring seamless workflow distribution and enhanced efficiency across IT and business functions.

Please note: Our current onsite work schedule requires attendance from Monday through Thursday each week in our corporate office, with remote work permitted on Fridays.

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience required.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with projects for assigned business area(s) to ensure they remain on track and within scope.
• Capable people manager with a track record of leading high performing teams and growing individuals.
• Familiarity with leading website and mobile app development platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Sitecore, Appian, Ionic, Flutter, etc.
• Experience in real estate, hospitality, and/or multi-family a plus
• A Strong Leader: You effectively lead cross-functional teams, providing clear direction to help both direct and indirect team members achieve goals and collaborate cohesively.
• 5+ years of experience in Program or Product Management, preferably in digital marketing, website development, customer channels or similar, with a focus on leveraging AI capabilities to design new products or services that improve customer journeys and business outcomes.
• Proven ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirements for core operational systems and effectively prioritize and allocate resources for their development and enhancement.
• Organized and Composed: You are adaptable, confident, and able to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining composure in high-pressure situations, interacting seamlessly with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Internal influencer, culture carrier, negotiating, and consulting skills
• Expert knowledge across a variety of marketing and sales solutions including leading digital experience platforms, sales and marketing enablement technologies for B2C websites, portals, mobile applications, social, marketing automation, relationship management/CRM, web and social analytics platforms.
• Proven work experience with Agile methodologies and tools, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities in large, complex organizations.
• Demonstrated results of improved lead generation, customer engagement and revenue leveraging sales with AI-driven and/or marketing automation capabilities.
• 8+ years of experience in technology project management or similar IT management roles.

Benefits

The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and qualifications.

Salary: $169,000 - $206,00 per year; in addition to base salary, a discretionary annual bonus & LTC is provided.
