Key duties include leading design‑phase services, coordinating design and BIM meetings, developing work and phasing plans using Revit and related tools, and driving process improvements through Lean, VDC, and IPD practices. The role also oversees trade‑partner RFPs, provides estimating support, and collaborates with operations and design partners to meet deliverables and schedule milestones.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or possess 15 + years of relevant experience without a degree) and have at least 10 + years of construction design‑phase experience. Required skills include proficiency in Revit, strong computer abilities in Word, Excel, and Outlook, the ability to read construction documents, price major systems, and excellent written and oral communication. A valid Washington State driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen are also required.
JTM provides a competitive benefits package for qualified salaried employees, including a comprehensive health plan (medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, and EAP), 8 paid holidays, a minimum of three weeks paid time off, and additional leave for parental, jury duty, bereavement, and volunteer activities. The company also offers a 4 % safe‑harbor 401(k) match with discretionary profit sharing and performance‑based bonuses ranging from 3 % to 10 % of base earnings.
