Microbiologist - Environmental Laboratory

Conduct microbiological testing and analysis in an environmental lab, quality and compliance.

Tasks

-Contribute to daily and weekly planning; -Follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy and quality of work; -Use summaries to plan and organize work; -Recommend SOP revisions; -Follow up on contamination and interference in the laboratory; -Provide support for performance supervision; -Generate reports with results and fax them to the clients; -Ensure equipment is properly maintained; -Coordinate laboratory projects; -Validate and implement new methods; -Write SOPs; -If required, validate Level II data; -Ensure that quality control criteria are met for all reported data; -Ensure deadlines are met; -Perform complex sample preparation and analysis; -Follow all laboratory safety rules and regulations; -Approve data generated (validation level 1) for which analysts have been trained and validated; -Contribute to corrective action procedures;

What You Bring
