Responsibilities include planning and executing a wide variety of photo shoots—home exteriors, interiors, lifestyle, events, and customer testimonials—and coordinating props, locations, lighting and talent. The photographer leads discovery meetings, organizes travel logistics, and collaborates with stakeholders and vendors to ensure project goals are met. Post‑shoot duties involve directing additional photographers, managing assets and delivering final collections to marketing and other teams.
The role requires proficiency with diverse photography equipment, including DSLRs, drones, and Matterport cameras, and the ability to manipulate natural and artificial lighting. Advanced editing skills in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom are essential, covering complex retouches such as sky or window replacements and AI‑enhanced edits. The photographer must maintain organized metadata, collections and asset‑management systems for searchable archives. Consistent adherence to visual brand standards across all deliverables is expected.
Candidates must present a diverse portfolio that showcases interior and exterior real‑estate work aligned with brand guidelines. A bachelor’s degree in photography or equivalent experience, plus at least five years of professional photography, is required, along with FAA‑approved drone certification. Strong manual camera knowledge, rapid prioritization, and the ability to meet tight deadlines are essential. The position involves extensive travel, uneven terrain, stair navigation, and handling heavy equipment.
