Manage and implement treatability tests, pilot tests, pre-design investigations.
Hold primary responsibility for all aspects of the project lifecycle, including cost estimating and proposal preparation, scheduling, subcontracting, resourcing, project planning, execution, document preparation and review, and financial management.
Oversee day-to-day management of multi-disciplinary project teams to develop complete site/civil/remediation design packages and permit applications for construction with a focus on project delivery, quality, financial performance, and health and safety.
Plan and direct environmental field observation and testing programs; including laboratory test selection and data evaluation.
Developing remedial design submissions for inclusion in bid packages.
Developing remedial alternative analysis assessments and remedial action work plans.
Administer and/or manage construction-phase engineering support including submittals review, contractor pay requisitions, change orders, requests for information.
Collaborate closely with the project team, supporting field teams, providing oversight, and observing health and safety processes and procedures.

Construction and/or construction management experience with civil and environmental projects.
Master’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field.
Experience with the preparation of design plans, permit applications and technical specifications for remediation of New Jersey contaminated sites, including earthwork and site/civil aspects of remedial construction projects.
4+ years of project management and financial management experience.
Experience managing all phases of environmental projects including delegation of work, schedule, cost, quality and client relationship.
Demonstrated experience in all phases of NJDEP investigation and remediation process.
Proficient computer literacy skills including use of the Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint) and the ability to learn various software needed to support financial management, diverse project needs, and client requirements.
Minimum of Bachelor of Science in civil or environmental engineering.
12+ years of professional environmental consulting experience with SUPERFUND sediment remediation and CERCLA.
Demonstrate strong technical competence, knowledge of codes and regulations, and professional standards of practice to assigned tasks.
Proficient with Microsoft Project and CAD/Civil3D and GIS software
Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in environmental regulations, environmental investigation, remediation design and compliance, along with environmental construction support experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication, and strategic thinking skills. Must be proficient at writing, reviewing and editing technical reports to meet scope and quality objectives and client expectations.
OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER training and refresher updates, and strong commitment to safety.
New Jersey PE license required, or ability to obtain reciprocity within six months of hire.
Experience with managing and evaluating large environmental data sets to develop conclusions and recommendations relative to remedial strategy.
Advanced knowledge of the local, state and federal regulatory landscape and proven negotiation skills with federal, state and local regulators.
Strong organizational skills, attention to technical details, and financial acumen.
