International Tax Analyst - The Toro Company

Description

• Prepare Toro’s U.S. international income tax compliance, including Form 5471’s and foreign branch/partnership filings, foreign tax credits, GILTI/NCTI, FDII/FDDEI, Pillar II, and transfer pricing to ensure arm’s-length intercompany transactions.
• Partner with tax management, foreign finance teams, and other key stakeholders on special projects, tax planning, audit defense and process improvement.
• Assist in preparing US federal and state income tax compliance filings, calculations and supporting workpapers, while applying analytics to identify key drivers for variances.
• Learn and support current BI solutions to enhance automation, analytics, and reporting.
• Build and maintain healthy working relationships with team members and internal business partners.
• Support analytical decision-making on key strategic initiatives by developing data-driven solutions.
• Forecast and compute quarterly and year-end tax provisions, including reconciliation of tax accounts, and other financial disclosure requirements to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statement presentation.

Requirements

• Must be curious and maintain a passion for learning. Must be able to grasp difficult concepts quickly.

• Tax Analyst I – 0-2+ years of experience in a related field
• ASC 740 income tax accounting skills and experience with global tax provisions a plus.
• CPA preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field of study.
• Confident verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate complex tax matters to non-tax professionals and partner with the business.
• Must have experience with federal and international income tax compliance.
• Experience using Microsoft applications, Adobe, and income tax preparation software. Knowledge and or experience with OneSource Income Tax, GoSystems, Domo, OneStream, or ERP systems such as SAP, is a plus.
• Proven project management and organizational skills, with a bias toward action and the ability to keep multiple projects moving simultaneously.
• Team player – must have the ability to understand the big picture, yet dig into the details and help the team in any way needed.
• Must be proficient with technology, with an ability to apply technology tools to improve processes.
• Previous Big 4 or large national firm public accounting experience required.
• Tax Analyst II – 3-5+ years of experience in a related field
• Strong international tax technical skills and solid tax research skills.

• Competitive Salary – A reasonable pay range for this opportunity is $67,000-$85,000. The pay range takes into account skills, experience, education, and location. It is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
