Interface with the ultimate USAF client/customer for Northrop Grumman for technical issue studies, resolutions, and recommendations
Create meaningful goals working with team and ensure goals are met
Coordinate closely with other technical disciplines in planning and executing work as an integrated team, such as geotechnical engineering and GIS Manage discipline work process execution and assure technical adequacy in accordance with company procedures, contract, and industry codes and standards
Responsible for supervising engineers and helping to execute assignments concerned with specialized unique engineering requirements in a global business unit

Prior engineering team leadership experience, relevant experience includes previous experience supervising others
US citizenship is required per contract requirement.
Experience working with procedures meeting quality assurance programs such as ISO-9000 Prior experience working with government agencies, preferably the Department of Defense
Knowledge of systems, calculations, equipment, applications of methods, materials, and computers in the discipline
Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Demonstrate ownership of assigned actions to self and group and shows initiative in problem solving
Knowledge of precedents in the discipline and of principles and practices of related disciplines
Knowledge of related construction practices and the economics involved
Design experience with Unified Facilities Criteria and the Whole Building
Possess active security clearance or ability to obtain security clearance.
Registered Professional Engineer in USA (Civil or Structural Engineering).
Knowledge of industry /regulatory codes and standards, and design and/or layout criteria pertinent to the discipline
Experience with project controls including scheduling, estimating engineering efforts, planning, and work packaging
Experience planning and executing work in an Earned Value Management System environment
Experience with procurement automation tools
Experience with Building Information Modeling and information automation
BS degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, or related), from an accredited university, with at least 10-13 years of relevant experience
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
Prior construction oversight experience
Intermediate knowledge of developing CSI Masterformat specifications, or SpecsIntact
Knowledge of engineering work planning and control methods
