Design water resources projects, focusing on hydraulic/hydrologic modeling and analysis.

Tasks
-Work under project engineers on the application of various design engineering and modeling techniques in the development of water resource projects for federal, state and local municipalities -Focus on hydraulics and hydrology modeling, stormwater collection systems modeling, data collection, assimilation, and presentations -Focus on projects including flood control, river design, stream grade control structures, dike systems, levees, stream channel restoration/rehabilitation, wetland and lake restoration, watershed issues and non-point source loading and point source design. -Produce design calculations, draft technical reports and perform water resources studies
What You Bring
-Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field -Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate. Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression -Local candidates preferred -Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, standard CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling software -Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of task
