This role focuses on installing, programming, and maintaining electronic security systems such as access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV. Responsibilities include leading large‑scale projects, performing preventive maintenance, inspections, safety audits, troubleshooting hardware and software, commissioning software, documenting progress, managing project schedules and labor forecasts, and mentoring technicians.
Candidates must hold an active Secret clearance, be U.S. citizens, and possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Required education includes a high school diploma or GED plus military electronics training, an accredited electronics technician program, or an electrical apprenticeship, along with at least eight years of electronics installation experience—three of which must be in security systems. Strong communication, organization, and the ability to travel up to 50 % are also required.
