Requirements

• The candidate should be familiar with local construction codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines, and possess strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices related to earthworks construction and site development.
• The qualified candidate must have minimum of 5 years of transportation construction experience, a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field (or equivalent work experience), and proven experience as a Civil Inspector/Engineer with a focus on heavy highway work.
• Attention to detail, a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues, the ability to work outdoors and handle the physical demands of a construction site, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.
• Proven problem-solving and documentation abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High School diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of 3 years experience
• Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
• This position typically requires successfully passing drug-screening procedures prior to being hired; thereafter subject to random and cause drug and alcohol testing
