Work proactively with the teams to establish relationships with lead electrical consulting engineers, end users and design build contractors to promote the use of Eaton products (focus should be on switchgear and Transformer with busway) and solutions in their specifications and projects.
To determine, instruct and drive the technical quality and content of the quotation process. To read, interpret and agree on customer specifications in order to create a competitive Eaton solution including mechanical, electrical, safety and control systems, SCADA and PLC software applications.
Lead technical evaluation, feasibility, clarification and execution of multiple projects in parallel while meeting requested return dates of the quotation engineer/project engineer.
Writing technical RFQs for non-Eaton items that are part of a project and drive SCM for technical compliant bids.
Advise on 3rd party or special equipment materials (material cost and labour/engineering efforts) in order to provide technical competitive solutions to quotation engineers.
Understand the overall Data center value chain and translate the requirments into solutions based on Eaton MVPD product (switchgear, Transformer, Modular) portfolio. Work on detailed designs focused to mentioned products and also collaborate across different business units to saty in line with complete DC solutions.
Participate & understand current market requirements from customers to drive product technical features leading to future New Product Development (Involve in Gate 0) and evaluate risks in the segments.
To analyse electrical and/or mechanical faults by performing calculations and to advise customers about possible technical solutions with regards to complete (company own or competitive) systems, in close co-operation with sales management in order to solve customer’s problems without endangering the company’s image or financial position.
Develop pipeline through demand creation at influencers engaging on early designs on strategic DC accounts and framework agreements.

Experience in MV equipment installation & commissioning inlcuding & within RMU/Tx/LV modular roomns , with insights on considering MV cable connections & termination, LV cable and busway connections and testing is a nice to have skillset.
Architecture & Technical knowledge regarding MV switchgear (RMU and primary) and transformers (both liquid and dry type) as key focus & must have , but also exposure to LV, PSA including generators, packaged substations is nice to have.

Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering is required
Understanding of the MV switchgear and Transformer Design requirements (Codes, application guides & regulations) such as IEC 62271-1 (100,200,102) , EU 548-2014 (Ecodesign), IEC 60076 Power transformers and EN 50588 Medium Power Transformers and Supporting during tendering stage the different customer requirements such us rating, system description, internal arc protection, core & coil characteristics, temperature protection, vibration insulation.
