The Maintenance Manager position is based in Douglassville, PA, overseeing the maintenance department at our automated manufacturing facility. The role focuses on building and improving preventive, proactive, and predictive maintenance programs that enhance equipment reliability, production efficiency, and overall plant performance.
The manager spends about 80 % of the time on the plant floor leading technicians and specialists, while the remaining 20 % is dedicated to administrative duties such as using the ERP system to assign work and track costs. Collaboration with operations leaders, external contractors, and vendors is essential to prevent downtime and execute equipment installations and rebuilds.
Candidates must have a high school diploma (technical training preferred), at least five years of supervisory maintenance experience, and ten years in industrial manufacturing maintenance. Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, automation, PLCs, and ERP systems is required, along with proven mentoring abilities. Experience with concrete manufacturing equipment is highly preferred, and the role requires on‑call support for a three‑shift operation.
The team values a ‘can‑do’ attitude, collaboration, and continuous learning. The position demands physical activity, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lb (occasionally 80 lb), moving throughout the facility, and working in tight spaces, with reasonable accommodations available.
Techo‑Bloc offers a competitive compensation package that includes medical, dental and vision coverage, disability and life insurance, a 401(k) match, weekly pay, and paid time off. Additional perks such as employee product discounts, uniform after three months, boot reimbursement, training opportunities, and an employee assistance program support work‑life balance.
