- Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and safety requirements.
- Manage and maintain supplier relationships, resolving issues and promoting continuous improvement.
- Analyze market trends for cost savings and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors for timely delivery and favorable terms.
- Evaluate and monitor contract performance for compliance and necessary changes.

- Excellent organizational skills to maintain accurate records and track orders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or an electrical trade is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- 3+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field, preferably within the construction industry.
- Ability to handle disputes or issues with suppliers during the procurement process.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, changing environment to maintain the highest standards with respect to quality and accuracy of work.
- Familiarity with electrical construction materials, equipment, and industry standards.
- SMT (Supply Management Training) or SCMP (Supply Chain Management Professional) designation is highly desirable or enrollment in the SCMP program is considered an asset.
