The Intelligent Automation Technical Manager for the JBS Business, part of Global Business Excellence and Transformation, will lead the design, delivery, and maintenance of automation solutions across the organization. This role blends technical expertise with change‑management principles to drive financial results and support a broad range of technology initiatives.
Key responsibilities include designing and developing RPA solutions, acting as a subject‑matter expert in automation technologies, and building internal capabilities or partnering with vendors. The manager will also ensure scalable process automation, maintain robust governance, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver measurable client benefits.
- Design, develop, support, and maintain RPA solutions using Automation Anywhere A360.
- Serve as subject‑matter expert for RPA and low‑code/no‑code automation technologies.
- Build internal automation capability or partner with vendors for best‑in‑class solutions.
- Create scalable automation processes aligned with operational needs and workload management.
- Write and debug RPA scripts, review code, and configure automation tools for efficiency.
- Document automation procedures and maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation.
- Collaborate with RPA Governance on best practices, code reviews, and standards.
- Train business users on RPA technologies and automation best practices.
- Participate in technical discussions and devise strategies to overcome automation challenges.
- Analyze root causes of errors or incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Establish an end‑to‑end framework for RPA delivery, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Integrate Automation SDLC with broader technology infrastructure requirements.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, cross‑functional leaders, and project teams.
- Deliver agreed internal client benefits and report progress against timelines.
- Coach and guide project team members to foster a culture of process re‑engineering.
- Model robotic processes to reduce manual effort and boost employee productivity.
- Implement best practices for scalability, reusability, security, and standardisation.
- Support QA testing and facilitate User Acceptance Testing as needed.
- Ensure robust governance and regular reporting to achieve defined outcomes.
- Provide solution design, development, testing, run support, incident and change management.
- Utilise APIs, document automation, OCR tools, and scripting languages (Python, VB, VBA).
- Leverage Agile tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA for project tracking.

The ideal candidate brings over five years of experience with RPA, generative AI, and programming, holding certifications in Automation Anywhere A360 and Power Platform. A background in large‑scale international transformation projects, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to train and mentor others are essential.
