Shuttle Supervisor

Description

The Airport Shuttle Supervisor coordinates daily shuttle bus operations, directs Bus Operators and Fueler/Cleaners, and ensures quality service for passengers. Compensation is $30.14 per hour, with the final rate based on experience, skills, location, and market data. ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package for eligible staff.

In this 24/7 role, the supervisor oversees safety, customer satisfaction, inspections, scheduling, reporting, and communication while managing disciplinary actions when necessary. The position requires flexibility to work various shifts and the ability to respond to guest inquiries courteously.

• Conduct quality improvement inspections in assigned areas.
• Ensure safety and satisfaction levels meet or exceed expectations.
• Deliver highest-quality customer satisfaction.
• Assist with training and development.
• Provide guidance to Bus Operators and Fueler/Cleaners.
• Monitor bus rotation in service.
• Offer courteous customer service to guests and respond to inquiries.
• Lead and participate in a team to operate the shuttle service successfully.
• Perform safety observations.
• Complete daily operational reports.
• Report performance issues to management.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with passengers, coworkers, and managers.
• Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards.
• Work various shifts as operations run 24/7.
• Implement corrective action for disciplinary issues.
• Provide leadership and direction to team members.
• Facilitate open communication among Bus Operators, Fueler/Cleaners, management, and supervisors.
• Oversee adherence to daily and weekly work schedules for Bus Operators and Fueler/Cleaners.
• Report damaged, broken, or out‑of‑work equipment.
• Coordinate scheduling for extra client service requests.
• Attend and participate in all meetings and training sessions.
• Complete, validate, and deliver timesheets.
• Assign buses to Bus Operators.
• Assign tasks to Fueler/Cleaners.
• Send email communications.
• Work in various weather conditions.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a valid CDL A/B with a passenger endorsement, have prior dispatch and supervisory experience, and possess strong customer service skills. At least one year of similar work experience and proficiency with online applications and Microsoft Office are also required.
