Description

• Participate in professional development and mentorship opportunities.
• Ensure training meets RailPros’ standards and regulatory requirements.
• Offer feedback to ensure content stays current with industry standards and participant needs.
• Provide technical support to trainees during and after sessions.
• Collaborate with senior instructors to enhance training materials.
• Conduct engaging virtual railroad safety training for contractors, operators, and other personnel.
• Maintain accurate training records for compliance and reporting.
• Serve as the primary contact during training sessions, addressing client questions and concerns professionally.
• Coordinate with team members to plan training schedules.

Requirements

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in safety, transportation, education, or related fields.
• Knowledge of FRA regulations (e.g., CFR 243, GCOR) and practical safety rules in transportation, engineering, or mechanical operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Experience in railroad operations (e.g., Engineer, Conductor, Track Laborer, Inspector).
• Ability to travel (up to 75%) and work in diverse environments.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• 2+ years of railroad industry experience.
• Certification in training or safety, such as First Aid/AED instructor credentials.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation abilities.
• 1+ years of experience in training, public speaking, or on-the-job training (OJT).
