Works closely in coordination with the project team and other disciplines as well as other design offices
Develops of conceptual design, preliminary design and final design documents which would include calculations related to sizing and selecting of these systems, the development of Process and Instrumentation
Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff’s specific area of expertise
Plans and schedules discipline deliverables and activities including man-hour estimation, assigning personnel, and supervision of discipline personnel on the Projects
Executes engineering design tasks for utilities and HVAC (wet and dry) systems supporting mission-critical data center environments, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and energy efficiency for high-density computing operations
Prepares mechanical engineering calculations in support of HVAC systems design including heat load calculations, duct sizing, chilled water hydraulics, static pressure calculations, equipment sizing and selection
Develops manpower and labor cost requirements for a project and monitor them to aid in evaluating project schedule and budget
Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work by discipline team
Coordinates with disciplines in the preparation and development of the deliverables and ensuring those other disciplines’ inputs are incorporated
Supports project on-site execution and make decisions to support projects and act as technical consultant

Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred
